Privacy policy
Last updated [date]
[Draft: to be reviewed by a lawyer, with the company name and address added, before launch.]
Lana is software for fashion businesses, run by [company name] (“we”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It follows the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, email address and, if you add them, your phone number and job title.
- Your business's records: what you and your team enter into Lana, such as customers, measurements, orders, payments and work time. You decide what goes in. We process these records on your behalf and only to run Lana for you.
- How Lana is used: which pages are opened and which features are used, through PostHog, to improve the product. Never your customers' details, amounts or what you type. Anyone can switch this off in Settings, under Your privacy.
Who helps us run Lana
Your data is stored with Supabase in the European Union (Ireland). The app is served by Vercel, emails are sent by Resend, and usage statistics go to PostHog in the European Union. Each only handles data as needed to provide its service to us.
How long we keep it
[As long as your account is open, and for X days after you close it, unless the law requires longer.]
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your personal data, and object to how we use it. Email hello@trylana.app. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
